Visiting Friends Helps If You Can

Post: Nothing great, reminder to book 6 month check up with the dentist!

Today I visited my heavily pregnant friend. I always love going to see her, although sometimes I don't because of my anxieties. We are like polar opposites really, she's financially secure and we struggle. She likes being girlie and I like zombies, playing Xbox & jeans. Still, I'm so excited about her 3rd lil one :D

The last time we visited, our DD fought with my friend's son but this time she was well behaved. It's funny but despite the fact she is so lovely, every time she invites me over I get that familiar knot in my stomach; what if this or that happens? Sometimes I cancel but today I made myself go and felt so much better for it.

I've read that fresh air and a bit of sunshine are good for depression. And even though it was piddling down when we left, chatting to her about her life and problems helped to distract me for a while.

I know it's hard when you have depression or anxiety, or both, believe me I do but even if you just pop out to post a letter, get outside when you can. xx
